Our Approach

The Maison
Method

Representation worldwide  ·  By appointment

This page is how the house works: what we do, in what order, and what happens once you are represented. Your contracts, your deals, your money and your name all handled in one place, with a lawyer in the room from the beginning.

Philosophy

A Home, Not Just an Agency

What we push for in a contract, what we turn down on your behalf, and what we count as a good year all follow from one decision: that what is being managed here is a decade of your life and not a diary.

In practice that means the privacy of a family office, the planning of a good business adviser, and a set of relationships that took years to earn. All of it pointed at your career rather than at this quarter.

One point of contact

Every contract answered in writing

A statement every Friday

The Pillars

Four things the house is for.

These are the four we are willing to be judged on. They are not a ranking, and you get all four or none. What each one means for you, at length, is set out on the Philosophy page.

  • Protection

Protection is infrastructure, not a tone.

  • Excellence

The same attention in the quiet months as in the loud ones.

  • Discretion

The first measure of a house is what it refuses to say.

  • Legacy

    Careers end; legacies should not.

The Engagement

How representation begins, and continues.

01

Introduction

It begins by referral. We meet privately to understand your work, what you are trying to build, and what most needs protecting right now.

02

Structure

Before anything is signed, the terms get designed: your rights, what you are locked out of, and how the deal is actually built.

03

Mandate

Once you sign, your name, image, voice and likeness are held as property and watched as such, and every room we work in on your behalf stays closed.

04

Continuity

Then it runs for as long as you do: the work in front of you, the venture you are building quietly, and what happens after this discipline ends.

An introduction
